BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Five faculty members from the Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs have been honored with the 2022 Trustees Teaching Award from Indiana University.

Professor of Practice Karen Gahl-Mills, Associate Professor Amanda Rutherford, Senior Lecturer Susan Siena, Associate Professor Coady Wing, and Assistant Professor Nikolaos Zirogiannis were selected for the award, which is given each spring to honor faculty who have had a positive impact on student learning, especially undergraduates. Department chairs and deans identify candidates for the awards.

“Nothing is more important to our faculty than providing a world-class education that prepares students to be the next leaders in their chosen field,” said Siân Mooney, dean of the O’Neill School. “Earning a Trustees Teaching Award is tangible evidence that faculty are going above and beyond as educators, and we couldn’t be prouder of the faculty who have been honored this year.”

Recipients of the Trustees Teaching Award will be formally recognized at a reception in the fall.
